Pothos
Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum
Plant Family: Araceae (Arum family)
Native Region: Native to the Solomon Islands, a group of islands in the South Pacific.

Brief Description
Pothos is a popular houseplant known for its heart-shaped leaves that are typically green with splashes of yellow, cream, or white variegation. It has vining stems that can trail downwards or climb upwards with support. The leaves are glossy and can grow quite large indoors.
Care Instructions
Pothos is very easy to care for, making it suitable for beginners. It prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions, though variegation may be less prominent. Water thoroughly when the top inch or two of soil feels dry, and allow the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. It tolerates average room humidity and temperatures. Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Prune to maintain desired length and bushiness.
