Common Vetch

Brief Description

A nitrogen-fixing climbing or sprawling herbaceous legume with pinnate leaves that end in branched tendrils. It produces pea-like purple or pink flowers and elongated green seed pods that turn black when mature.

Care Instructions

This plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is very hardy and requires little maintenance, often growing as a weed or cover crop. Water moderately during dry spells, though it is relatively drought-tolerant once established.
