Brief Description

Alfalfa is a perennial legume with small, trifoliate leaves and clusters of tiny purple or yellow flowers. It features deep root systems and stems that can grow up to 1 meter tall.

Care Instructions

Thrives in full sun and well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Once established, it is highly drought-tolerant due to its deep taproots. It requires infrequent but deep watering and minimal fertilization as it fixes its own nitrogen.
