Brief Description

A fast-growing, deciduous shrub known for its vibrant yellow flowers that bloom in early spring before the leaves emerge. It has an upright or arching habit with opposite, simple green leaves that have serrated edges.

Care Instructions

Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Prefers well-draining, moist soil but is relatively drought-tolerant once established. Pruning should be done immediately after flowering to prevent cutting off next year's blooms. It is hardy in USDA zones 5 through 8.
