Brief Description
Barrel cacti are large, barrel-shaped cacti, typically solitary, with prominent ribs and often stout, colorful spines. The one pictured has a green body and striking red spines.
Care Instructions
Requires full sun and well-draining soil. Water sparingly, especially during winter dormancy; allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Protect from frost. Fertilize once a year in spring with a balanced cactus fertilizer.
