Brief Description
These are perennial herbs with upright stems and lance-shaped leaves. They produce large, six-petaled, bowl-shaped flowers that come in a wide range of colors including yellow, orange, white, and burgundy, often with decorative spots (freckles) toward the center.
Care Instructions
Plant bulbs in well-drained soil in a location that receives full sun to partial shade. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Apply a balanced fertilizer in the spring as new growth appears. Deadhead spent flowers to prevent seed production and encourage bulb growth for the next season.
