Tatarian Honeysuckle

Brief Description

The Tatarian honeysuckle is a deciduous shrub that typically grows 10-15 feet tall. It has opposite, oval to oblong leaves that are blue-green. The flowers are typically white, pink, or red and appear in pairs in leaf axils. The plant produces small, spherical berries that are bright red or orange and are often observed in pairs, as seen in the image provided.

Care Instructions

This is a very adaptable and hardy shrub. It thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. It is not particular about soil type and can tolerate a range of conditions, from moist to dry. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. Due to its invasive nature in some regions, it is not often recommended for planting. If grown, periodic pruning may be necessary to control its size and spread.
