Native Region: While its exact native origin is debated, it is widely considered to be native to South Asia and parts of Southern Europe and Africa. It is now a cosmopolitan weed found in many temperate and tropical regions worldwide.

Brief Description
Purslane (Portulaca oleracea) typically grows low to the ground with reddish stems and small, succulent, paddle-shaped leaves. The leaves are smooth, fleshy, and often green or reddish-green. It can trail or spread out, forming dense mats.
Care Instructions
Purslane is a very low-maintenance plant. It prefers full sun and well-draining soil, but can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions, including poor soil. It is drought-tolerant once established and generally does not require much watering. It can be harvested regularly to encourage new growth.
