Pink trumpet tree
Scientific Name: Handroanthus impetiginosus
Plant Family: Bignoniaceae
Native Region: Central and South America

Brief Description
The image displays the dry, open seed pods of the Pink Trumpet Tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa or Handroanthus impetiginosus). These pods are elongated capsules that split open to release numerous winged seeds. The pods themselves are typically brown or grayish-brown and have a somewhat papery texture once dry. The winged seeds, often layered and resembling stacked scales, are light brown to off-white and can be seen spilling out of the pods.
Care Instructions
Pink trumpet trees thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. They are drought-tolerant once established but benefit from regular watering during dry periods, especially when young. They prefer warm climates and are not frost-tolerant. Minimal pruning is usually required, mainly for shaping or removing dead/damaged branches.
Medicinal Value
