Bird's Nest Snake Plant

Brief Description

The plant in the image appears to be a Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii' or Bird's Nest Snake Plant. It is a compact, dwarf variety of the Snake Plant, characterized by its rosette-shaped growth habit. The leaves are broad and short, with distinctive green banding and often a yellow margin along the edges. The leaves grow in a tight, cup-like clump, resembling a bird's nest.

Care Instructions

This plant is extremely low-maintenance. It prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Water sparsely, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. It tolerates dry air and average room temperatures. Fertilize sparingly during the growing season (spring/summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Repot only when necessary, as they prefer to be slightly root-bound. Dust leaves occasionally to maintain their appearance.
