Alocasia plants generally thrive in bright, indirect light. They prefer consistently moist but not waterlogged soil, so ensure good drainage. Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out before watering again. High humidity is beneficial, so consider misting or using a pebble tray. They prefer warm temperatures, typically between 65-80°F (18-27°C) and should be protected from cold drafts. Fertilize every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Repot only when root-bound, usually every 1-2 years.
