Brief Description

A dense, deciduous shrub known for its dark reddish-maroon, strap-like flowers that emit a spicy fragrance reminiscent of cinnamon, strawberries, or pineapple. Leaves are opposite, ovate, and a glossy green.

Care Instructions

Thrives in full sun to part shade. Prefers well-drained, fertile soil but is adaptable to various soil types including clay. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots, then moderately thereafter.
