Brief Description
The common puffball is a fungus that typically appears pear-shaped or club-shaped, often with a short stem-like base. It has a whitish to brownish outer surface covered with small, wart-like spines that can be easily rubbed off. When mature, the top opens to release olive-brown spores.
Care Instructions
This is a wild mushroom and is not typically cultivated or kept as a houseplant. It grows naturally in forests, woodlands, and grassy areas. If found, it should be observed in its natural habitat rather than attempted to be cultivated. Edible when young and firm, but caution is advised with wild mushroom consumption.
