Brief Description
The image shows a young marigold seedling with characteristic deeply lobed or toothed green leaves. The leaves are arranged oppositely on the stem, and the overall appearance is that of a typical marigold sprout before flowering.
Care Instructions
Marigolds are relatively easy to care for. They prefer full sun (at least 6 hours daily) and well-drained soil. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, but avoid overwatering as they are susceptible to root rot. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers. They generally do not require heavy fertilization.
