Brief Description
The image shows a young seedling with two prominent cotyledons that are somewhat heart-shaped or rounded, and a true leaf just beginning to emerge between them. The cotyledons are bright green and relatively thick. Given the general appearance of the seedling with these characteristics, it highly resembles a cucumber or squash seedling.
Care Instructions
Cucumber/squash seedlings require consistent moisture; keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. They need full sun (at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily). Plant in well-draining, rich soil. Provide support as they grow if they are vining varieties. Protect from cold temperatures, as they are sensitive to frost.
Medicinal Value
We do not currently provide medicinal value for plant identifications.
