American Black Nightshade

Brief Description

An annual or short-lived perennial herb with ovate, slightly wavy green leaves and distinct reddish-purple stems. It produces small white, star-shaped flowers followed by small, shiny black berries when mature.

Care Instructions

It is often considered a weed but thrives in full sun to partial shade with regular watering. It prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil but is highly adaptable to disturbed soils and urban environments.
