Peace Lily
Scientific Name: Spathiphyllum
Plant Family: Araceae
Native Region: Tropical regions of the Americas and Southeastern Asia

Brief Description
The Peace Lily is a popular houseplant known for its glossy, dark green leaves and distinctive white, hood-like flowers (spathes) that emerge on tall stalks. The actual flowers are tiny and grow on a spadix within the spathe. It typically grows in clumps and can range in size from small table plants to large floor specimens.
Care Instructions
Peace Lilies thrive in medium to low indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged; water when the top inch of soil feels dry. They appreciate high humidity, so misting regularly or placing them near a humidifier can be beneficial. Fertilize every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound.
