Feverfew
Tanacetum parthenium
Feverfew is a small, herbaceous perennial plant, typically growing to about 1 to 2 feet tall. It has bright green, deeply lobed leaves that are aromatic when crushed. The plant produces numerous small, daisy-like flowers with white ray florets and yellow disk florets, usually blooming from summer to fall. Feverfew is a relatively low-maintenance plant. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established but benefits from regular watering during dry periods. It can self-seed readily, so deadheading spent flowers can help control its spread and encourage more blooms. It is hardy in USDA zones 5-9.
