Peace Lily
Spathiphyllum spp.
The Peace Lily is a popular indoor plant characterized by its glossy, dark green leaves and distinctive white 'flowers'. These 'flowers' are actually modified leaves called spathes, which surround a central stalk of tiny true flowers (spadix). They typically grow in clumps and can range in size depending on the variety.

Peace Lilies prefer bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged; water when the top inch of soil feels dry. They thrive in high humidity, so misting or placing them near a humidifier can be beneficial. Fertilize sparingly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound.
